 As you may already know, Hindu Society of North Carolina (HSNC) is hosting "Ganesh Festival" from Sept 10 – 20th, 2010. As always there are many art, education and entertainment activities being planned for this festival with an involvement of all local community organizations.  There are many exciting events/performances planned right throughout the 11 day festival. "Ganesh Utsav" is Maharashtra's most loved and celebrated festival with the chants of "Ganapati Bappa Moraya" reverberating everywhere and RTPMM is glad to be part of this grand festival celebration this year too.  To make this event our own and very special, we encourage everyone to participate in various poojas, events and activities during this event on all days.  RTPMM will be having its own slot during this festival and we will be celebrating our traditional 'Ganesh Chaturthi' day on Sept 19th 2010. Following is the tentative schedule for the same:

·         9 am to 11 am  – Abhishek Pooja/Aarti

·         11 am to 1 pm  – Prasad

·         1 pm to 3 pm    – Cultural performances

For the above cultural performances, we are inviting RTPMM members/non-members to send their entries for the 19th of Sept. 2010  

This event  is free for RTPMM members.

The members, interested in offering Abhishek to Lord Ganesh, can opt for of the below:-
1] $101  : which include Abhishek and two tickets for any of the programme, scheduled at HSNC during Ganeshotsav,
2] $51    : Abhishek only.
